MotoSky, motosiklet sürücüleri için hava durumu ve sürüş asistanı bir mobil uygulamadır. Uygulamayı kullandığında bazı kişisel verilerin işlenir. Bu politika, 6698 sayılı Kişisel Verilerin Korunması Kanunu (KVKK) ve Avrupa Birliği Genel Veri Koruma Tüzüğü (GDPR) kapsamında hazırlanmıştır.
Verilerinle ilgili her türlü soru, talep ve şikâyet için bu adrese yazabilirsin.
2. Hangi verileri işliyoruz
Aşağıda topladığımız her veri kategorisini, sebebini ve saklama süresini bulacaksın. Burada yazmayan bir veriyi toplamıyoruz.
Hesap bilgileri
Ne
E-posta adresi, ad, profil fotoğrafı (Google ile giriş yaparsan Google'dan gelir), takma ad, hakkında metni, motosiklet marka/model/yıl bilgisi, eklediğin sosyal medya bağlantıları, ülke ve saat dilimi.
Neden
Hesabını oluşturmak, cihazların arasında verilerini senkronize etmek, profilini ve liderlik tablosundaki görünümünü oluşturmak.
Süre
Hesabın açık olduğu sürece. Silme talebinde e-posta ve takma ad anında anonimleştirilir.
Konum verisi
Ne
Uygulamayı açtığında mevcut konumun (enlem/boylam), varsa kaydettiğin ev konumu ve alarm için seçtiğin sabit konumlar, rota analizinde girdiğin başlangıç ve varış noktaları.
Neden
Bulunduğun yerin hava durumunu ve sürüş skorunu hesaplamak, alarm saatlerinde doğru konum için rapor üretmek, rotandaki hava değişimini analiz etmek.
Süre
Son bilinen konum güncellendikçe üzerine yazılır. Hesap silindiğinde tamamen silinir.
Sürüş kayıtları
Ne
Sürüş sırasında kaydedilen GPS noktaları (gittiğin rotanın izi), mesafe, süre, ortalama ve maksimum hız, sürüş skoru, sürüş tarihi.
Neden
Sürüş özetini ve haritadaki rotanı göstermek, istatistiklerini ve rozetlerini hesaplamak, paylaşım kartını oluşturmak.
Süre
Sen silene kadar. Uygulama içinden her sürüşü tek tek silebilirsin. Hesap silindiğinde GPS izleri dahil tamamı silinir.
Cihaz ve bildirim
Ne
Bildirim gönderebilmek için cihazının push kimliği (Firebase token), platform bilgisi (Android/iOS) ve son etkinlik zamanı.
Neden
Kurduğun alarm saatlerinde sürüş raporu ve hava bozulması uyarısı göndermek.
Süre
Cihaz kaydı geçerli olduğu sürece. Uygulamayı kaldırdığında ya da hesabını sildiğinde silinir.
Tercihler
Ne
Sürüş alarmların (saat, günler, saat dilimi), bildirim tercihlerin ve sessiz saatlerin, uygulama dili, liderlik tablosuna katılım tercihin, seçtiğin avatar çerçevesi.
Neden
Uygulamayı senin ayarladığın şekilde çalıştırmak.

Hesabın açık olduğu sürece.
Abonelik ve ödeme
Ne
Premium üyelik durumun, üyeliğin kaynağı (kupon veya abonelik), varsa kullandığın kupon kaydı.

Premium özellikleri açmak ve üyelik durumunu doğrulamak.
Süre
Hesabın açık olduğu sürece. Ödeme kartı bilgilerini hiçbir zaman görmüyor ve saklamıyoruz; ödemeler Google Play üzerinden yapılır.
Anonim kullanım: Uygulamayı hesap açmadan da kullanabilirsin. Bu durumda e-posta veya adın gibi kimlik bilgilerini toplamayız; sadece cihazına bağlı geçici bir hesap oluşturulur. Daha sonra Google ile giriş yaparsan mevcut verilerin o hesaba taşınır.
3. Verileri nasıl kullanıyoruz
Bulunduğun konumun ve rotanın hava durumunu getirmek, sürüş skorunu hesaplamak.
Kurduğun saatlerde sürüş raporu, hava bozulmasında uyarı bildirimi göndermek.
Sürüşlerini kaydetmek, istatistik ve rozetlerini üretmek.
Uygulamadaki hataları tespit etmek ve performansı iyileştirmek.
Kişisel verilerini satmıyoruz, reklam amaçlı üçüncü taraflarla paylaşmıyoruz ve profilleme yoluyla sana reklam göstermiyoruz.
4. Hukuki dayanak
KVKK m.5 ve GDPR m.6 kapsamında verilerini şu sebeplerle işliyoruz:
Sözleşmenin ifası: Hesabın, sürüş kayıtların ve abonelik durumun, uygulamayı sana sunabilmemiz için gerekli.
Açık rıza: Konum erişimi, bildirim izni ve liderlik tablosuna katılım. Bunları istediğin an geri çekebilirsin.
Meşru menfaat: Güvenlik, kötüye kullanımın önlenmesi ve hizmet kalitesinin iyileştirilmesi.
5. Kimlerle paylaşıyoruz
Hizmeti çalıştırabilmek için sınırlı sayıda sağlayıcı kullanıyoruz. Her biri yalnızca kendi işi için gereken veriyi alır.
Google Firebase — hesap girişi (Google ile Giriş) ve bildirim gönderimi. Aktarılan: e-posta, cihaz push kimliği.
Google Maps Platform — harita, konum arama, rota hesaplama ve koordinatın yer adına çevrilmesi. Aktarılan: koordinatlar ve arama metni.
OpenWeather — hava durumu verisi. Aktarılan: yalnızca koordinatlar (kimlik bilgisi gönderilmez).
Google Play — uygulama dağıtımı ve abonelik ödemeleri.
Sunucu altyapısı — verilerin Avrupa Birliği içinde bulunan sunucularda barındırılır.
Bunların dışında, yalnızca yasal bir zorunluluk halinde (mahkeme kararı, resmi talep) yetkili mercilerle paylaşım yapılabilir.
6. Liderlik tablosu ve herkese açık profil
Liderlik tablosuna katılmayı seçersen, diğer kullanıcılar yalnızca şunları görür: takma adın, avatarın, toplam mesafe ve sürüş sayısı gibi toplam istatistiklerin, kazandığın rozetler ve profiline yazdığın bilgiler (motosiklet modeli, hakkında metni).
Asla görünmez: e-posta adresin, konumun, ev adresin, sürüş rotaların ve GPS izlerin, alarm saatlerin, abonelik detayların. Konum verisi hiçbir koşulda başka kullanıcılara gösterilmez.
Liderlik tablosundan istediğin an Ayarlar ekranından çıkabilirsin; çıktığında profilin diğer kullanıcılara kapanır.
7. Verilerini silme hakkın
Hesabını uygulama içinden silebilirsin: Ayarlar → Hesabı sil.
Silme talebinde e-posta adresin, takma adın ve sosyal medya bağlantıların anında anonimleştirilir.
Hesabın ve tüm ilişkili verilerin (sürüşler, GPS izleri, alarmlar, bildirim kayıtları, rozetler) en geç 30 gün içinde sunucularımızdan kalıcı olarak silinir.
Bu süre, yanlışlıkla yapılan silmelerde kurtarma imkânı bırakmak içindir. 30 gün sonunda geri dönüş mümkün değildir.
Silme sonrası aynı e-posta veya Google hesabıyla yeniden kayıt olabilirsin; bu yeni ve boş bir hesap oluşturur.
8. Diğer haklarınız
KVKK m.11 ve GDPR kapsamında şu haklara sahipsin:
Kişisel verilerinin işlenip işlenmediğini öğrenme ve bunlara erişim talep etme.
Eksik veya yanlış işlenmiş verilerin düzeltilmesini isteme.
Verilerinin silinmesini veya yok edilmesini isteme.
Verilerinin taşınabilir bir formatta sana verilmesini isteme.
İşlemeye itiraz etme ve verdiğin rızayı geri çekme.
Bu talepler için support@motosky.app adresine yazabilirsin. Başvurulara en geç 30 gün içinde yanıt veriyoruz.
Ayrıca uygulama içinden doğrudan yapabileceklerin: konum ve bildirim izinlerini cihaz ayarlarından kapatmak, liderlik tablosundan çıkmak, sürüşleri tek tek silmek, hesabı tamamen silmek.
9. Veri güvenliği
Uygulama ile sunucu arasındaki tüm iletişim HTTPS ile şifrelenir.
Oturum bilgilerin cihazında işletim sisteminin güvenli deposunda (Keychain / Keystore) saklanır.
Kimliği doğrulanmamış hiçbir istek kişisel verilere erişemez; bir kullanıcı başka bir kullanıcının verisine erişemez.
Ödeme kartı bilgileri hiçbir zaman sistemimize girmez.
Buna rağmen hiçbir sistem %100 güvenli değildir. Verilerini etkileyen bir güvenlik ihlali yaşanırsa, yasal süreler içinde seni ve yetkili kurumları bilgilendiririz.
10. Çocukların gizliliği
MotoSky, ehliyet sahibi motosiklet sürücülerine yöneliktir ve 16 yaşın altındaki çocuklara yönelik değildir. Bilerek 16 yaşın altındaki kullanıcılardan veri toplamıyoruz. Böyle bir veri toplandığını fark edersek siliyoruz.
11. Bu politikadaki değişiklikler
Uygulamaya yeni özellikler eklendikçe bu politikayı güncelleyebiliriz. Önemli değişikliklerde uygulama içinden ya da e-posta ile bilgilendirme yaparız. Sayfanın üstündeki "son güncelleme" tarihinden hangi sürümü okuduğunu görebilirsin.
KVKK kapsamındaki başvurularının sonucundan memnun kalmazsan Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurumu'na şikâyette bulunma hakkın saklıdır.

This app processes your location and your rides. Here is exactly what we collect, why, and how long we keep it.

MotoSky is a mobile app that provides weather intelligence and ride tracking for motorcycle riders. When you use the app, we process certain personal data. This policy is prepared under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK No. 6698) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
You can write to this address for any question, request or complaint about your data.
2. What we collect
Every category of data we collect is listed below, with the reason and the retention period. We do not collect anything that is not listed here.
Account information
What
Email address, name, profile photo (provided by Google if you sign in with Google), nickname, bio, motorcycle make/model/year, any social links you add, country and time zone.
Why
To create your account, sync your data across devices, and build your profile and leaderboard entry.
Kept
While your account exists. On deletion, your email and nickname are anonymised immediately.
Location data
What
Your current location (latitude/longitude) when you open the app, your saved home location and any fixed alarm locations, and the start and destination points you enter for route analysis.
Why
To fetch weather and calculate the ride score for where you are, to generate reports at your alarm times for the right location, and to analyse weather along your route.
Kept
Your last known location is overwritten as it updates. Deleted entirely when your account is deleted.
Ride records
What
GPS points recorded during a ride (the track of the route you took), distance, duration, average and maximum speed, ride score, and ride date.
Why
To show your ride summary and route on the map, calculate your statistics and badges, and generate your share card.
Kept
Until you delete it. You can delete individual rides in the app. All of it, including GPS tracks, is deleted when your account is deleted.
Device and notifications
What
Your device push identifier (Firebase token), platform (Android/iOS) and last activity time.
Why
To send ride reports at the times you set and alerts when weather is about to deteriorate.
Kept
While the device registration is valid. Removed when you uninstall the app or delete your account.
Preferences
What
Your ride alarms (time, days, time zone), notification preferences and quiet hours, app language, leaderboard participation choice, and selected avatar frame.
Why
To run the app the way you configured it.
Kept
While your account exists.
Subscription and payment
What
Your premium status, its source (coupon or subscription), and any coupon redemption record.
Why
To unlock premium features and verify your membership status.
Kept
While your account exists. We never see or store your payment card details; payments are handled by Google Play.
Anonymous use: You can use the app without creating an account. In that case we do not collect identifying information such as your email or name; only a temporary account tied to your device is created. If you later sign in with Google, your existing data is carried over to that account.
3. How we use your data
To fetch weather for your location and route and calculate your ride score.
To send ride reports at the times you set and alerts when weather deteriorates.
To record your rides and produce your statistics and badges.
To build the leaderboard (only if you opt in).
To detect errors and improve performance.
We do not sell your personal data, do not share it with third parties for advertising, and do not profile you for ads.
4. Legal basis
Under KVKK Art. 5 and GDPR Art. 6, we process your data on these grounds:
Performance of a contract: your account, ride records and subscription status are necessary to provide the app to you.
Consent: location access, notification permission and leaderboard participation. You may withdraw these at any time.
Legitimate interest: security, abuse prevention and service quality.
5. Who we share with
We use a small number of providers to operate the service. Each receives only the data needed for its function.
Google Firebase — account sign-in (Sign in with Google) and notification delivery. Shared: email, device push identifier.
Google Maps Platform — maps, place search, route calculation and converting coordinates to place names. Shared: coordinates and search text.
OpenWeather — weather data. Shared: coordinates only (no identifying information).
Google Play — app distribution and subscription payments.
Server infrastructure — your data is hosted on servers located within the European Union.
Beyond these, disclosure occurs only where legally required (court order, official request).
6. Leaderboard and public profile
If you opt into the leaderboard, other users see only: your nickname, avatar, aggregate statistics such as total distance and ride count, badges you have earned, and the profile details you entered (motorcycle model, bio).
Never visible: your email address, your location, your home address, your ride routes and GPS tracks, your alarm times, or your subscription details. Location data is never shown to other users under any circumstances.
You can leave the leaderboard at any time from the Settings screen; your profile then becomes inaccessible to other users.
7. Your right to deletion
You can delete your account inside the app: Settings → Delete account.
On request, your email address, nickname and social links are anonymised immediately.
Your account and all related data (rides, GPS tracks, alarms, notification records, badges) are permanently erased from our servers within 30 days.
This window exists so accidental deletions can be recovered. After 30 days, recovery is not possible.
You may register again with the same email or Google account after deletion; this creates a new, empty account.
8. Your other rights
Under KVKK Art. 11 and the GDPR you have the right to:
Learn whether your personal data is being processed and request access to it.
Request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data.
Request erasure or destruction of your data.
Receive your data in a portable format.
Object to processing and withdraw consent you have given.
Write to support@motosky.app for these requests. We respond within 30 days at the latest.
You can also act directly in the app: turn off location and notification permissions in device settings, leave the leaderboard, delete individual rides, or delete your account entirely.
9. Data security
All communication between the app and our servers is encrypted with HTTPS.
Your session credentials are stored in your device's secure storage (Keychain / Keystore).
No unauthenticated request can reach personal data, and no user can access another user's data.
Payment card details never enter our systems.
No system is completely secure. If a breach affecting your data occurs, we will notify you and the relevant authorities within the legally required timeframes.
10. Children's privacy
MotoSky is intended for licensed motorcycle riders and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from users under 16. If we discover such data, we delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as features are added to the app. For significant changes we will notify you in the app or by email. The "last updated" date at the top tells you which version you are reading.
If you are not satisfied with the outcome of a request, you retain the right to lodge a complaint with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority or your local supervisory authority.
